As President and CEO of Uptime USA, Bob Hoover is head of the northwest Autotask user group, board member of the Norcal International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP), and sits on numerous IT committees at nonprofits including The Marine Mammal Center, The Global Fund for Women, Jewish Family and Community Services and Girls, Inc. of Alameda County.
Bob has over 25 years of business leadership in enterprise software and business consulting. Prior to Uptime USA, he lead the country's largest IBM systems integration business unit for social computing and portal services at Ascendant Technology, acquired by Avnet Inc. (AVT). Bob spent nine years as President and CEO of TamGroup, an IBM partner and systems integrator of portal and collaborative software building enterprise systems for Healthcare, Retail, and High Tech firms including Kaiser, BCBS, West Marine and Cisco. Bob has been a member of the IBM global software advisory council and lived and worked on four continents, completing business transactions in over 20 countries.
